REQUEST FOR CHANGE

The scholar requested that we build a new platform for their market (UK Universities and boarding schools). We got involved to build the entire platform for them, including putting together the largest database of UK schools by utilizing web scraping. We then built a platform that would offer public access to this database, as well as a public forum for students, and a media publishing network on the site on related topics. We developed the website design and company logo, as well as took over their social media marketing and consulted on business development strategy.

SOLUTION

Step 1

Initial meeting: Defined the requirements of the project, their requests, and target business goals. We discussed the steps to achieve those goals, budgets, marketing strategies including promotions, social media, and influencer promotions.

Step 2

Implementation of the MVP: After our strategy meeting, we started collecting data for their software and implementing the business plan and marketing strategy. Following the database build, we started implementing the software and MVP build out.

Step 3

Launch and quality assurance: After an extended quality assurance process considering the scope of the project, we launched the initial build and started a hard launch. After 2 weeks of intense social media marketing promotions, we were able to drive a large number of users to the website. After additional client requests, an automated posting system was implemented. By clicking on one button, multiple articles could be reposted from several data streams simplifying the management process.
